Large groups

The Old Mill, either on its own or taken with the neighbouring property, Blandfords, is the perfect venue for large groups of friends and family to get together. The living space is generous and the layout enables people to separate into smaller groups and enjoy different activities while still being able to come together as a whole, especially at meal times. The dining cum party room can accommodate up to 28 sitting down. More than that is something of a squash and makes formal dining very difficult but the room works well for buffets and general partying. Any additional guests can be accommodated in The Snuggery, a charming flat across the road, or in a terrific bed and breakfast in a neighbouring house. If the prospect of organising and event long distance is daunting, we can help as much, or as little, as you wish, supplying decorations, waiting staff, chefs etc for anything from a supper in to a summer barbeque in the garden. We want all our guests to have a wonderful, fun, stay with us but we do have to point out that our properties are in the heart of peaceful villages and so are not suitable for late, rowdy, functions at odds with the tranquillity of the surroundings.
