The Cotswolds is an area of limestone hills in the south central part of England covering over 2000 square miles and incorporating 6 different counties. The boundaries have ebbed and flowed as times have changed. Of our portfolio of properties, Oakridge and Cheltenham are firmly in the Cotswolds. Indeed, Cheltenham is known as the 'Queen' of the Cotswolds and is an excellent base for touring, not just the eponymous region but the whole of the south west and the Midlands. Oakridge Lynch lies in the South Cotswolds. Less 'chocolate box' than the busy tourist areas in the North, it is nevertheless, rightly, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Depending on which map you look at, Colwall falls outside the strict definition of the Cotwolds. But, what's in a name? If you are looking for beautiful rolling hills, easily accessible in the heart of England, it will tick all the boxes.
Barton Court is a magical place for any kind of milestone celebration, but particularly weddings. If you want a simple, intimate affair or a lavish extravaganza, Barton Court provides the backdrop for you to stage the most memorable day of your life.
We are more than happy to have hen parties and stag groups. Over the years, many hundreds of these groups have stayed at our properties. The organiser has a big job to do and we are happy to help with the planning. Experience tells us that numbers can change which can leave the lead contact in difficulties. Protect yourself by making sure you take out cancellation insurance and gather in all the money you need before you commit to a booking.
Included in the price for your stay are utilities, fuel, linen and towels. We also provide toilet rolls and tea towels but no food.
CAN WE BRING OUR PETS?
We are very fond of dogs and welcome well behaved ones. They will enjoy the surroundings and find lots to entertain.
IS IT FREE?
Find out if your preferred dates are available by going to our live calendar. It is accurate to the minute so, if it says free, it is free.
We are a very small firm with just a few properties so, as soon as we take a booking, we are turning other people away. Our cancellation policy is strict: we do not give refunds. We urge you to take out cancellation insurance to protect against any unseen problems. This is particularly necessary when booking for a large group.
For your protection and security, we recommend that you pay on our secure payment page using a debit or credit card. To secure the property, you need to pay a non-refundable 50% deposit. The balance and the relevant damage deposit are due 6 weeks prior to your arrival.
